Using Canvas Studio for Assignments

Canvas Studio is a fantastic tool for creating webcam videos and screencasts for your students. It allows you to track analytics to see who has watched the content (and how much), and you can comment and respond to comments right on the video timeline.

However, what we will explore in this video is not only how to create videos with Canvas Studio, but how to use it for assignments, such as discussions and quizzes. Students can interact with Studio recordings, and they can also create their own original content for assessment purposes. Join us as we explore and discuss various options for integrating Canvas Studio into our course design to enhance teaching and learning, and increase student engagement through multimedia.
